It’s design , location and cleanliness make this an oasis in a crazy Pattaya

The staff were superb. The modern stylish decor and the excellent quiet location

Not much. Would have liked more sun beds near pool but I understand this is difficult due to position and size of pool

The location was great and was easy to get around Central Pattaya with the tuktuk buses. The staff were also very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Room was always cleaned well and beds were super comfortable! A nice little touch was having the drying rack outside on the balcony where we dried all our wet clothes after swimming in the pool :) We’ve already recommended staying here to friends and family

Good location, a short walking distance from soi Buakhao and the tree town. Has a proper Harvia Finnish sauna that heats up to 80 degrees, a surprise! Very clean hotel and lovely staff. Good restaurant and breakfast, filling for a westerner. Also there's a very good restaurant nearby not on hotel premises, Copperspoon. They have an endless supply of toothbrushes, which was nice since I forgot to bring mine. Has a massage room, a small store for beer&snacks.

Gym was a bit underwhelming eg. dumbbells are in pounds so not very heavy. Bring your rubber bands? YMMV. Again there are gyms nearby. Some mosquitoes in the evening time in the inner yard area. Consider asking a room on the pool side? My room was towards soi chayapoon on the 7th floor and kinda noisy. Not terrible, not great. Def my biggest gripe.

Amazing experience! Beautiful hotel in a perfect location super clean and modern! I’ve stayed in five star hotels all over the world that can’t beat the service here and I can say that the service at this hotel exceeded all of the service I have ever experienced ! The staff are absolutely incredible and a credit to the company! I unfortunately had an eye infection a week before I came to stay at the Amber and it was still a little red and the reception noticed on check in and asked everyday if I was ok and did I need anything! I felt truly cared for it was like having a family member with me every day! Honestly hand in heart this is the best most caring and beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at! It’s truly incredible! Would highly recommend!! Thankyou so much to the team at the Amber for your compassion and friendliness and professionalism! You guys deserve a 5 star rating!!!!! Djamel Meddah

Stayed many times before but staying on the top floor the rooms seem to be cleaned late in the day.

cled . quiet friendly staff. no noise efficiency.

check in slow and beaurocratic. No fault of staff who were pleasant. It was the systems in place.

The room was good. Breakfast was good with bread.

Did not like the eggs and omelette pre cooked. Had to ask for fresh omelette with onions, chilli etc to be made. NOT HAPPY WITH PAYING AGAIN AND GETTING A CREDIT NOTE FOR REFUND TO COME INTO MY ACCOUNT UPTO 45 days.

I like the room it’s clean and the bed is comfortable to sleep. The place are nice and quiet in early dawn until noontime. The balcony have a nice view as well.

There was no free breakfast, i booked deluxe double bed in agoda but given with two single beds, asked for room change as very noisy in evening until 2 am but not permitted as per staff no available room and the pool side is more quiet than the back side but with different rates. The sink is outside the toilet so the floor get easily wet. For cleaning room only until 5pm.. no free toothbrush in the room, but you can ask the reception they will provide. No disposable slipper.

The Pool is pretty designed and comfortable. The Lobby, Restaurant, Reception Staff, the Massage staff and seevice is good -very good !! The room itself has been good, comfortable bed.

3rd floor above the Pool Room #322 The Pool gets very often used very early in the morning, very noisy Chinese groups with kids starting at 6AM splashing, screaming, shouting and without any respect to other guests. I would not mention it if this happens past 8 AM., but 6AM!! The Aircon is powerful in the Room, yes powerful enough during the daytime! During the night it is not cooling that much, in my room (they are linked with a main unit) it was not possible to get below 29⁰C, my comfort zone is between 25-27⁰C, so it was not comfortable..I know how to setup an Aircon, there has not been Running a Timer scheduled program or power safe, green ecological program. I am pretty sure external shared main unit does regularly reducing the cooling power because of too less btu Power. The rooms are not getting cleaned well, really not! If I compare it with many other compareable Hotels around Pattaya than I need to say the Hotel Amber is clearly below the average.

Most staff were excellent but there was one tall reception girl who was quite rude to me. I stayed at this hotel for 12 days she made no attempt to be helpful. However the other staff were great.

The manager behind the reception was the most unplesent ,difficult ,person i have ever met . I wont ever return to the Hotel Amber . Jimmy from Ireland .

Situated in a good area, plenty of shops and bars Swimming pool area is lovely! Wasn’t too crowded too Rooms very clean/modern and comfortable Food was reasonably priced

Breakfast is various. Room is ok, bed is comfy. I like that toilet and shower are separate :) Wifi is good. Hotel is clean and new. It's not difficult to find the hotel, you can just follow google map. some staff is very helpful but some they are not.

The most longest check-in time I ever had in my life. it took almost 1 hour for check-in! We arrived around 1330. The staff (which is not friendly at all. maybe she is tired) asked for all info until 1345 and she said 'please take a seat and wait for the room' so we think maybe bec check-in time is 1400 so we were waiting until 1410. but no one came to us. So we back to her and it seems like she is busy and forgot about us. Her colleague is responsible instead which is more helpful. we didn't get the room as we requested. so we had to wait more time and finally we got what we requested for. We got the room around 1430!! If you want additional pillow, it costs 300 THB Just FYI

Hotel is cleanliness..

Especially the policy of hotel staff as if they have the policy for them self e.g if ask for towel they will not give and silly policy they give 2 sugar and breakfast tea for a day.
